PROGRAM - RHINO
This final project was a mix of an individual and collaborative combined effort that progressed as the semester carried on. This work here proposed a remaster of the abandoned Peninsular Paper Company to become something to experience in various forms.

PROJECT OVERVIEW
Referencing Spanish culture where it is loud lights all night with peace & serenity during the day, this logic could be applied to the Peninsular Paper Co. Revitalization Project When talking about how this building is used here to become something beautiful with integrating light, noise, program, and texture while following this logic.
Eventually, the idea of the program of this project entails that all private programmed spaces be held in darker settings. Darkness is inviting. If done in the correct way, it may convey a sense of shelter and warmth in comparison to the breezy and roomy feel that bright light gives. This is done to allow more warmth, privacy, and comfort inside of these spaces such as: an auditorium with an audio component, and a private area for delivery and storage. The light spaces would entail a visual auditorium such as an art gallery, a terrace to allow maximum area for basking in light, and a common area to feel more open across all interior levels with a 3 floor atrium and café as a connection for maximum effect.
Eventually the last touch, is to utilize the roof in any way. A almost hidden roof garden is installed, allowing even more nature from the site to be brought into the project.
