PROGRAM - SKETCHUP (+VRAY)
ACT 128 :

In winter of 2018, I started the intro Sketchup class. I knew how to do Sketchup, since I started on Google Sketchup 7, so I found this class pretty easy to manage. We started the class with modeling a vase in 3D while practicing shading a cube on paper. Then we learned how to model the 3D building shown here by using Sketchup faces, later assigning materials, then putting it into Layout and creating scenes and elevations to make a composite rendering on a 24” x 36” sheet for a project client. It was probably one of my favorite classes because we could change anything we wanted besides the structure to make this house more personal. It really allowed me to show some of my creative side. I even tried learning VRAY with one image at the end!
